MERN Stack Developer
We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer with 2+ years of experience to build and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
About the role
We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Ahmedabad. You will work across the stack on enterprise web applications, from the database and APIs through to the user interface, for clients in India and abroad.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain scalable web applications using React, Next.js and Node.js.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third party APIs and services.
- Design database schemas and write efficient queries in PostgreSQL.
- Build responsive user interfaces from the designs provided by the design team.
- Debug, optimise and maintain existing applications, including data migrations and version upgrades.
- Participate in code reviews and follow the team coding standards.
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Use AI assisted development tools to improve development speed and code quality.
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in full stack development with React and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js and Node.js.
- Working experience with Next.js.
- Hands on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
- Experience with REST APIs, authentication (JWT or OAuth) and third party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows.
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude.
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, or MCA or M.Sc. IT.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
Good to have
- Experience with MongoDB and the wider MERN stack.
- Experience working directly with clients in a delivery team.
