What the agriculture website had to do
A farming company speaks to growers, buyers and partners at once. The website has to explain the method in plain terms and show the land and the people behind it.
The design uses one deep green, large photographs and short sections, so the story reads quickly on a phone.
- Plain explanationThe method, in a few short sections.
- The land in viewPhotographs lead the sections.
- Reads on a phoneShort sections, one column.

Before you brief anyone
Planning an agriculture company website? Settle these early
Route each audience, explain the method plainly, and plan the photographs and the packaging with the site.
Request a scoping callDecide which audience the homepage answers first.
An agriculture business may speak to growers, buyers, distributors and partners, and each wants a different first answer, so the homepage routes them in one step.
Decide how the method is explained.
Sustainable practice, sourcing and quality are hard to judge from a slogan, so short sections that say what is done, where and why carry more weight than a long story.
Plan the photography before the layout.
A design built around large photographs needs real ones of the land, the crops and the team, and a farm shoot has to be scheduled around the season.
Test the identity on the product as well as the screen.
Bags, labels and vehicles carry the mark too, so the color and wordmark are tried there early. Our web design service covers both, and our website redesign checklist lists what to settle first.

What should an agriculture website include?
We start with a plain account of what the company grows or supplies and how, photographs of the land and the people, and a clear way for each audience to get in touch. The Superior Yield design does this with one deep green, large photographs and short sections.
What makes good farm website design?
Short sections, real photographs and a layout that reads as well on a phone as on a desktop. On phones, Superior Yield sets its sections in one column, so the story reads in a few scrolls.
Can agriculture web design include packaging?
Yes. We design the identity once and apply it wherever it appears. For Superior Yield, the mark, the color and the wordmark were carried from the website to a paper product bag.
How much does an agriculture website cost?
That turns on the pages, the product content and any ordering or dealer features, so the quote follows a scoping call rather than a rate card. Our website redesign cost guide shows how each one moves the budget.
Do you design websites for agriculture companies?
Yes. We design websites and brand identities for farming and agriculture businesses as part of our web design work, from the homepage to the packaging.
