Real estate app design for browsing listings and saving favorites
An app for finding a property, designed under the project name Nestora: listings to browse by type, a card for each home with its price and rooms, a list of favorites, and the identity for the product.

What the property listing app had to do
Someone looking for a property on a phone is comparing. They flick through homes, weigh price against rooms, and want to come back to the two or three worth a second look.
The design gives each home one card: a large picture, the name and address, the price and rating, and beds, baths and parking as small labels. Filters for the property type run across the top, and a heart on each card saves it to a favorites list.

Before you brief anyone
Planning a real estate app? Settle these before the screens
Settle the card, the save and the listing feed before anyone designs a screen.
Request a scoping callDecide what each listing card has to show.
A buyer compares homes in seconds, so price, rooms, parking and one good photograph earn the space, and everything else waits for the detail screen.
Decide when people have to sign in.
Saved favorites are what bring a user back, and a sign-up wall at the first heart can lose them; letting people save first and create an account later keeps the habit forming.
Decide where the listings and their updates come from.
A property app is only as current as its feed, so the rules for price changes and sold homes belong in the scope. The build is a separate step, covered on our mobile app development page, which is where real estate app development sits.
Then compare quotes on the same screen list.
Our guide to mobile app development cost shows which choices move the price.

What features does a real estate app need?
At least a way to filter listings, a card for each home that shows the price and rooms, and a way to keep homes for later. Nestora covers those three: property type chips, one card per home, and a favorites list filled by the heart on each card.
Is a property listing app different from a real estate website?
Yes. A website usually meets people first, from search, while an app serves the ones who come back and keeps their favorites a tap away. Many property companies need both, designed to share the same listings.
How much does it cost to design a real estate app?
The screens, the platforms and the listing feed behind them set the figure, so we quote after a scoping call. Our guide to mobile app development cost shows what moves it.
Do you design real estate apps?
Yes. We design property and real estate apps as part of our mobile app design work, and Nestora is one of them. For the website side, see our real estate website design work.
